Yvonne Christine Atchison, 86, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2026, in Flower Mound, Texas. She was born on August 11, 1940, to Curtis L. and Violet B. Nagle, in Olympia, Washington. She is survived by her brothers, Gordon Nagle (wife Joyce), and John Nagle, as well as her sisters, June Salter, and Candy Sapp.
She graduated high school and went on to be an incredible mother and housewife. Being a homemaker was very rewarding for Yvonne. Painting and embroidery were some of her passions as well. She was a member of Pitman Creek Church of Christ in Plano, Texas, where she taught Sunday school as well as Vacation Bible School, leaving an impact on the lives of the kids she touched.
In 1988 she married Wayne Atchison and enjoyed every single year by his side until his passing in 2003. They enjoyed traveling the United States, but everyone knew they enjoyed dancing together the most. Those who loved her had amazing conversations with her.
