Wanda Lea (Shaw) Patterson

Wanda Lea Patterson age 89, formally of Gorman passed away on November 20, 2021 at the Lone Star Rehab and Wellness Center in Stephenville. Wanda was born on May 18, 1932 in Hedley, Texas to Jasper Shaw and Elsie (Lamberson) Shaw. She was a teacher in Gorman and DeLeon Texas. She also worked for Ikeway Bookkeeping. Wanda loved yard work, she was an excellent cook and loved to cook a big breakfast for her family. She loved to gamble and travel and at one point in her life she also worked at the Grand Canyon. She married Pat Patterson on June 29, 1953 and they were married until he passed away on March 20, 1974. Together they had two children Steven and Terri. The loves of her life were her kids and her grandkids. Wanda is survived by grandchildren Jennifer and husband Garyn, Lindsey and husband Will, Courtney and husband Red, Jacob and wife Danielle, Adam and wife Sylvia, Josh; sixteen great grandchildren and Nephew Duane Taylor and wife Brenda. She is preceded in death by her husband Pat Patterson, Son Steven Patterson, daughter Terri Moon and Sister Jo Ann Reagan. Service Details.
