Troyat Underwood age 81, of Gorman passed from this life August 23, 2021. He was born December 21, 1939 at Blackwell Hospital in Gorman Texas. Troyat was the third child born to AL and Evelyn (Trice) Underwood. He has lived in the Gorman area all of his life. He loved farming, equipment auctions and raising cattle. Troyat is survived by his wife, Fannie (Lenard) Underwood; son, Justin and Wife Cindy of Gorman; Granddaughters, Lauren and Hannah Underwood; daughter, Beverly and husband Dewey of Thornton; Grandchildren, Josh Miller and Wife Kourtny and Sons of Rusk, Keristie (Miller) Job and husband Kyle and son of Cushing, Adam Miller of Thornton; daughter, Becky; nephew, Ted Underwood and Wife Beth and son Trey Underwood of Gorman; niece, Resa Lindaman and Husband Jim and families from Lewisville; sister-in-law, Ruth Underwood of Gorman; and a host of niece and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, AL and Evelyn Underwood, Brother Arthur Ted Underwood, and Sister Bess Barlou. Flowers are welcome or a donation to the Gorman Volunteer Fire Department.
