Teddy James Snider

Teddy James Snider, 80, of Gorman, Texas passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at home with many family members by his side. Ted was born on November 29, 1938 to C.L. (Pete) and Hazel Snider. He married Charlotte Cavitt on April 23, 1960. He was a devoted husband and father. Ted had a love for farming and ranching which he did most of his life. He enjoyed playing dominoes and everyone hoped to be his partner! He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching his cows with his dog Lady. Ted's sharp wit and understated humor will live on through our many memories and stories. Ted is survived by his wife Charlotte of Gorman. Son, Jamie and wife, Stephanie of Hollis, Oklahoma. Daughter, Susan Wheat and husband, Clay of Ranger. Sister, Lavon Snider of Gorman. Brothers: Gene and wife, Kay of Gorman; Dwayne and wife, Connie of Stephenville; Danny and wife Dianne of Gorman. Eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Ted was preceded in death by his parents C.L. (Pete) and Hazel Snider, a brother, Bobbie Snider, a son, Toby Snider and a great grandson, Aiden Newton. Service Details.
