Sussanne Rankin

Sussanne Rankin, age 86, of DeLeon passed away January 16, 2021 at the Deleon Nursing and Rehab Center in Deleon. She was born September 16, 1934 in Gorman to Barton William Rankin and Jessie Lou Counts Rankin. She was in the Air Force and then worked as an EMT in Weatherford and then went on to work at Birdsong. Sussanne was also a member of the Church of Christ. She loved her ladies sewing class and made dresses and pants for children and shipped them overseas. Sussanne also loved her plants. Sussanne is survived by her Daughter Shelby Thornton of Gorman; Brother Robert Rankin of Granbury; Sister Clyda Rankin of the Metroplex; grandchildren, Bubba Hagood and Jessie Eaves; great-grandchildren, Jarod, Addison and Dylan Hagood. She is preceded in death by her parents and son Shawn Schofield. Service Details.
