Socorro Landa Ramirez

Beloved daughter, mother, wife, sister and Grandma, Socorro Landa Ramirez, 58, went to be with our Lord and Savior on June 10, 2024, in Eastland, Texas.

She was born on November 8, 1965, to Santiago Landa and Gregoria Martinez Landa in Jalisco, Mexico.

Socorro was an incredible cook, loved to dance, and loved music. But more than that, Socorro loved her family unconditionally.

Socorro is survived by her mother, Gregoria Landa of Gorman Texas, husband, Jesus Ramirez of Gorman, her children; Pedro Antonio Ramirez and his wife, Holly of Phenix City Alabama, Benjamin Jorge Ramirez and his significant other, Michelle of Gorman Texas and Antonio Lee Ramirez and his significant other, Kailey of Gorman Texas.

Her favorite role in life was being a Grandma to her beautiful grandchildren; Adrian Isaiah, Nattalie Michelle, Briley Tayte, Ryder James, Sophia Kate, Arianna Rose and Riot Reed. She was also looking forward to the arrival of her two new grand babies; Adelynn Marie and Eli Antonio.

Socorro is also survived by her siblings; Sisters; Teresa Granado, Rita Landa, Gracie Longoria, and Cuca Espinoza of Gorman Texas. Brothers; Enrique Landa of Early Texas, Chago Landa of DeLeon Texas, and Noah Landa of Gorman, Texas. She is also the Great Aunt to many great nieces and nephews.

Socorro is preceded in death by her father, Santiago Landa, her Tia Maria, niece Amanda Granado, and Great Nephew, Bret May.

A service will be held in Socorro’s honor on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 10:00 A.M., at Higginbotham Funeral Home in Gorman, Texas.
