Ruthie Bernice (Warren) Porter

Ruthie Bernice Warren, 89 of Gorman, TX and resided at the Deleon Nursing and Rehabilitation center for the last 5 years. Ruthie was born March 16, 1932 to Burnice Warren and Ruth Alene Hammon. Ruthie was preceded in death by her parents, one sister JoAnn Helton of Desoto, Tx and her daughter Sherry Thornton of Gorman, Tx. Ruthie is survived by Brother Rae Dean wife Goldie Warren of Gorman, Tx, Son Tim and wife Lynn Porter of Gorman, Tx, 4 granddaughters Jeannie Murchison, Shari Henson, Kalyn Porter and Emily Thornton Deleon and 5 great grandchildren Keenan Murchison, Caleb and Eli Henson, Kinsey Glasgow and Matthew Deleon. Ruthie loved everyone and loved the life she lived. She was a life time member of The First Baptist Church of Gorman, Tx. She never met a stranger and made more than friendships she made lasting memories with everyone she met. A very special thank you to Deleon Nursing and Rehabilitation for taking care of our beloved Ruthie, she loved the staff like family and everyone that came and went along the way. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to the Charlie Garrett Library of Gorman or to a library of your choice.
