Rick Townley

Benjamin Richard Townley (Rick) IV, age 59, of De Leon, passed away on Monday November 11, 2019 at his home in De Leon. Rick was born May 3, 1960 in Gorman, Texas to Benjamin Richard Townley (Dick) and Sylvia Jo Townley (Leonard). Rick graduated from Gorman high school. He worked as a carpenter, ran cable lines and worked power plants. He enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking out and spending time at the lake. Most of all he loved watching his Dallas Cowboys and spending time with his family. Also, he was a member of the Church of Christ. Rick married Tammy Battenfield on March 20, 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada and they were married until he passed away. He is survived by his wife Tammy Townley. Brother Bill Townley. Sister in law Kellie Townley. One niece Misty Kimmell. Three nephews: Chris Barnes, Chase Townley and Taylor Townley. Step son Michael Battenfield. Two step daughters: Genia Davis and Misty Colpetzer. Also, a host of great nieces and nephews. Rick is preceded in death by his parents Dick and Sylvia Jo Townley. Brother in law Stacy Webb and one sister, Renee Webb. Service Details.
