Ray Brooks Bennett

Ray Bennett, 81, passed away on July 14, 2023. Ray was born on September 15, 1941 in Gorman, Texas to Jack Bert Bennett and Billie Lois Brooks Bennett. After graduating from high school, he went to UT Arlington where he graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree. He worked at Phillips Petroleum for many years and lived in many different places including Norway. Ray was always there for his family. Ray is survived by his daughter; Karyn Bennett of Gorman, his son; Jeff Bennett with this wife Charity of Missouri, his grandchildren; Eric Bennett, Samuel Bennett, Josh Bennett, Kirsten Bennett, Audrey Bennett, Nathan Bennett, Sydney Bennett, and Billie Bennett, as well as his sister; Barbara King. He is preceded in death by both of his parents; Jack and Billie Bennett, and one son; Steven Bennett
