Nelda Joyce "Joy" (Hallmark) Rogers

Nelda Joyce "Joy" Rogers age 87, of Atlanta Texas, passed away on Saturday April 16, 2022. She was born on August 18, 1934 to George Hallmark and Ozy Leslie (Eison) Hallmark in Gorman, Texas. Joy was a member of the Church of Christ. She was also a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. Joy loved to cook, read, and put puzzles together. She also loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Joy is survived by her daughter Sha Penny and husband Bruce of Atlanta, Texas; son Wesley Rogers of Valley Mills, Texas; five grandchildren, Amanda Hodges and husband Cody, Amy Penny and Josh Caver, Gina Barton and husband Dennis, Miriam Metts, Lesley Garrison and husband Kris; ten great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, four sisters, great-grandson Tyler Barton and daughter-in-law Dorenda Arnold Rogers. Service Details.
