McKenzie Kay Osborne, 28, passed away on February 28, 2023 in Eastland, Texas. She is already tremendously missed by a grieving fiance, Blake Truran; parents, Philip (Lisa) Osborne, Melissa (Zeke) Fowler; grandfather James Britt Henry; Dalton, Ashley and Chaney Fowler; bonus grandparents, Donald and Jeana Fowler; as well as numerous family and friends. She was greeted in heaven by her grandmother, Anita Kay Henry, paternal grandparents, Philip and Sandra Osborne; and her beloved great-grandmother, Mama Jo. McKenzie loved her family, cherished friends, and fought hard. She loved all types of music, cute puppies, all types of seafood, and ridiculously rare steak. A Gorman Panther from Kindergarten to Graduation, she continued to be a Panther until the very end, by filling in as a substitute teacher the last few years. McKenzie shined her light unto everyone. Her fighting spirit, fierce love, and tender concern for those around her will be dearly missed. McKenzie's memorial will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Gorman, Texas. Flowers may be sent to Higginbotham Funeral Home Gorman. Memorials may be made in McKenzie's name to the Gorman Volunteer Fire Department. Service Details.
