Martha Lynn Foster Overstreet

March 6, 1947 — August 16, 2020

Martha Lynn Foster Overstreet was born March 6, 1947 to M.E. (Buck) and Annie Fay Foster in Gorman Texas. She graduated from Gorman High School in 1965 and then from Draughon's Business College. She raised two girls who tested her patience daily, one maybe more than the other. She worked in banking and bookkeeping all of her working years. She retired from the business office at Comanche County Medical Center just in time to spend her days cheering on her many grandchildren in all the sports that they loved. Not just the ones she was given by birth, but the ones she was given by love too. Martha was a Christian woman of strong faith and a long-time member of First Baptist Church Gorman. She always knew she would someday be made whole again. She was greeted in heaven on August 16, 2020 by her parents and sister Rebecca Dean Smith, along with many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mama, daddy and sister. She is survived by her daughters Jennifer Jill Overstreet & Chris Beason, and Sara Elizabeth Overstreet & Marc Gillen and their father Gary Overstreet; Sister and Brother in law Pamela & Ron Childers; Brother in law Vernon Smith; grandchildren Aryann Nichole Cook, Marcus Elijah Martinez, Christopher Beason and Allie Beason; and many nieces, nephews, family, friends and loved ones. The family wants to express their deepest gratitude for all of your love and support during this time. Service Details.
