Jimmie Lee Turner

Jimmie Lee Turner age 78, of Gorman, passed away on March 4, 2020 at his home with his family by his side. Jimmie was born in Gorman, Texas to Johnnie Lee Turner and Nellie Beatrice (Sanders) Turner. Jimmie worked as a laborer. He was also a member of the Methodist Church. Jimmie liked to go fishing and he absolutely loved his grandchildren and spending time with them. He married Glenna Yvonne Ervin on October 23, 1964 at the Eastland County Courthouse and they were married until he passed away. Jimmie is survived by his wife Glenna Turner of Gorman, Texas. Five sisters: Jonell Torrez of Gorman; Darlene Morris of Ft. Worth; Dorothy Jackson of Cisco; Gloria Glasson of Gorman; and Effie Taylor of Breckenridge. One brother, Arthur Dale Turner of Gorman. Three children: Katherine Brown of Gorman; Gloria Murphy of Gorman; and Kristina Locke of Gorman. Also seventeen grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents Johnnie and Nellie Turner. One sister, Barbara Ellen and two sons, Johnny Ervin and Jimmie Turner. Service Details.
