James Clifton Burns

On April 17, 2019 at 10:40 am, Mr. James Clifton Burns went to be with our Lord and Savior, peacefully at the Deleon Nursing and Rehab with wife and friends at his side. <br><br>James was born in Gorman Texas on March 7, 1933 to Johnny and Louise Burns. He married Reba Minnick, August 19, 2003 in Rising Star Texas. James was a peanut farmer who loved to fish, farm, and spend time with family.<br><br> He is survived by his loving wife Reba Burns of 16 years, Sons; Royce Minnick and wife Linda of Fort Worth Texas, Charlie Minnick of Lubbock Texas. Grandchildren; Laine Russell and husband Jeff of Fort Worth, Jarrod Minnick of Lubbock, and Peyton Minnick of Lubbock and one great grandchild Skyler Russell of Fort Worth. Sister Betty Jean Cook of Fort Worth and many nieces and nephews.<br><br> He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Louise Burns, Brother-in-Law Richard Nelson, Brothers Johnny Paul Burns and Freddy Joe Burns and Sister Dorothy Louise Henson.<br><br>
