Georgia Sunshine "Sunny " (Coker) Kellogg

Georgia Sunshine (Sunny) Kellogg, Age 98, of Gorman passed away on November 2, 2019 at the DeLeon Nursing Home and Rehab Center in DeLeon, Texas, with her daughter Francis by her side. Sunny was born on February 22, 1921 to Gertrude Elizabeth Coker in Comanche County, Texas. She worked as a waitress at Emerson's Café and Brown Jug. She was a nurses Aid at the old Blackwell Hospital and the New Blackwell Hospital. She also worked at the Quickway. She was very active in the Women's Study Club. Sunny was also a member of the Church of Christ. Sunny married the love of her life L.F. Kellogg in November of 1936. They were married until he passed away on February 13, 1990. Sunny is survived by her daughter Francis Simpson of Gorman. Sister June Morton of Fort Worth. Grandchildren: Tami Underwood of Gorman; Billy Don Simpson and Jeanene of Gorman; and Tacy Warren and Shawn of Gorman Texas. Three grandchildren, five great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband L.F. "Son" Kellogg. Son-in-law Billy Earl Simpson and great grandson Jayden Justice. Service Details.
