Carolyn Wilkerson age 81, of Gorman, passed away Friday July 17, 2020 at the Deleon Nursing and Rehab Center. Carolyn was born January 16, 1939 in Denison, to Thomas Edward Watson and Frances Elizabeth (Jackson) Watson.
Carolyn married Bobby G. Wilkerson on August 8, 1959 in Denison Texas. Together they were a part of the First Christian Church. Carolyn and Bob were married until she passed away.
She loved to go to Baseball games, Rodeos and loved to go camping and fishing. Most of all she loved to spend time with the family she loved so much.
Carolyn is survived by her husband Bob Wilkerson of Gorman. Two sons, Mark Wilkerson and wife Jerilyn of Gorman; Layne Marlow of Brownfield. Three Brother- in - laws, Bill and Shirley Wilkerson; Don Wilkerson; and Jack and Dorothy Wilkerson. Grandchildren, Shari and husband Dane Hanson; Austin Marlow. Nephews, Steve Weaver and wife Karen, Larry Weaver and wife Gina, Marney Wilkerson and wife Sherri, Doug Wilkerson and wife Debbie, Keith Wilkerson and wife Lacy, Jerry Rutledge, and James Watson. Nieces, Phyllis and husband Gary Floyd; Debbi and husband Ronnie McBride, D'lana and husband Bob Motta, Tonya Wilkerson, Tracy Wilkerson, Peggy Breed, Nancy Harrison, and Kay Watkins. Also, many great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents. Two brothers, Wayne Watson and Jimmy Watson. One sister- in- law Francis Watson. Two sisters, Betty Butcher and Mary bishop. Two brother - in - laws Butch Butcher and Ken Bishop. Also, one nephew Jeff Wilkerson.
