Bret Ryder May

Bret Ryder May, age 13 of Gorman passed away on January 13, 2022. Bret was born on December 26, 2008 in Abilene, Texas, and was a loving son to parents, Michael Alex Reyna and Sascha Chantal May. Bret Ryder attended Gorman Middle School where he was a 7th grader. He was very involved in Jr. High sports, and loved spending time with his family and friends. Bret Ryder had an amazing heart. He loved you just the same, whether he had just met you, or knew you his entire life. He loved to do silly dances, playing jokes, wearing crazy socks and trying to scare his family; which his family says, he was not very good at. Bret Ryder was known for the way he cared for others, his gentle soul, and his very kind and polite manner. He truly had a heart of gold. Bret Ryder is survived by his mom Sascha; dad Michael Reyna; siblings, Breanna Cabeen, Hallie Reyna, Alex Reyna, Cooper Reyna; grandparents, Sonya Neill, Teresa Granado, Alex Granado, Tammy Martinez; Uncles, Beau Neill, Daniel Reyna, Mike Taylor, Samuel Talamantez; Aunts, Clarie Neill, Rachel Taylor, Reba Granado, Inez Talamantez; and lots of cousins and dear friends.
